Redesigned crankcases reduce drag, which plays a vital role in enabling the single-cylinder engine to create more torque and peak power than the previous generation. Together with an extensive list of new or revised components and updated valve timing, the proven LC4 engine is compliant with the latest emissions standards and retains its linear and controllable power delivery. An added benefit of the latest engine are the service intervals, with oil changes now required at 15,000 km instead of the 10,000 km on the outgoing model.
